Small Town America, Framingham, a memoir. Travel with me as a 'little detective' trying to make sense of a life few now know. There was a time when some people were afraid to drive a car! When no one wanted a dryer, clothes smelled so good drying out on the line. We had a rag man, milk and bread were delivered, along with coal and ice. The war changed all our lives, before, during and after! Learn so much more, through my eyes way long ago!

Small Town America, Framingham ...In Your Easter Bonnet - Judy Garland (Easter Parade)
Our dreams were based on movies like this, that showed people well dressed, singing, and happy, in our beautiful country. It was late 1940's when this movie came out, the war had ended, the world was repairing its damage to hearts and souls, to lives destroyed by the mayhem of war. Goods and services were being created for us, jobs were plentiful and people had money to buy....we had saved and sacrificed for years due to the war needs and now we could burst into the future, the choice was no longer guns or butter, it was all butter!
