Recently discovered correspondence between Mr. Charles S. Dennison and Mr. Harry Selfridge brings the current PBS series, Mr. Selfridge, close to home. Who knew that Dennison had its own department at Selfridge's of London and that Mr. Dennison sent two Framingham women from his art department over to design one of the famous store windows before opening day in 1909? They also taught English saleswomen how to fashion flowers from Dennison crepe paper making "Dennisonites" out of their new friends. Come learn more about the friendship and partnership of these globally recognized retail moguls.
